Empowering the community to make smart energy choices.
Tallento Corp and Energize CT (Eversource, United Illuminating, Connecticut Natural Gas and Southern Connecticut Gas) have officially signed the agreement formalizing Tallento's participation on the Home Energy Solutions Program (HES) in Connecticut for 2020.
According to Daniel Martins, Tallento's CEO, the participation in the HES program puts his company in a select group of contractors who are hand picked to perform the services in CT. "The Home Energy Solutions program is a Connecticut energy efficiency program tailored to homeowners and renters who want to save money on their energy bills and are environmentally conscientious regarding the impact of an inefficient home. We are putting ourselves in a privileged position to advise and make these changes to directly impact the finances, the comfort and the overall health of our customers. I am particularly very proud to be part of the program, helping reducing the carbon footprint and making our planet a better place" said Mr. Martins after signing the contract.
The HES Program consists in one easy visit where Tallento Certified Technicians will evaluate a home’s energy performance and install basic weatherization and energy-saving measures such as sealing air leaks and installing energy-efficient lighting, faucet aerators and low-flow shower heads. The average home in Connecticut receives about $1,000 in services and realizes $200-$250 in savings on their annual energy bills. Additionally, the technicians will provide written recommendations for deeper energy-saving measures such as Wi-Fi thermostats, insulation, high-efficiency heating and cooling, water heating, windows and appliances. To help customers making smart energy choices, each recommendation will include information on rebates and financing along with payback and investment information specific to each home. .
Tallento expects to launch their first vehicle to HES customers in the first week of March and is already signing customers in for the program participation.
